BBC News approached us to develop a brand identity celebrating its 100-year legacy. Using the new BBC brand architecture designed by Wolff Olins and the overarching BBC 100 Years identity, we crafted a design system that seamlessly integrates with BBC News’ existing brand guidelines—creating the perfect hybrid that truly represents its heritage and future.

BMMF Creative refined the color palette, simplifying it to highlight BBC News’ signature red. We also developed new layouts that emphasize a timeline narrative, incorporating archive footage in both motion and graphic elements. This approach not only honors BBC News’ past but also reinforces its continued evolution as a trusted global news source.
